The auction opens on December 8th, ends on December 14th, and anyone in the world can participate.  There is no starting price, but bidders are required to deposit $100,000 to demonstrate that their intentions are serious.

The Widi Reserve is an archipelago of more than 100 pristine, uninhabited tropical islands.  This area has 150km of fine white sand beaches and thriving coral reefs.  This is the deep sea and the water rich in nutrients.

This island chain is one of the most intact atoll ecosystems left on Earth.  This is also the animal kingdom where has a monumental scale, home to hundreds of rare and endangered species.

The Widi area is located within a 315,000 ha marine protected area: 10,000 ha of tropical rainforest, mangroves, turquoise lagoons, lakes and beaches.

Indonesian law does not allow private ownership of the islands.  However, a joint stock business that owns real estate can resell shares to anyone.
